Job Responsibilities:
Self-motivated senior member in Xilinx product yield engineering team, working on advanced Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) products yield improvement with 90nm and beyond process. To work closely with Xilinx foundry partners for all yield improvement activities on a daily basis. Perform functional debugging and physical FA on FPGA devices for design verification, yield enhancement, Qual/Monitor rejects. Build debugging tools, such as different kind of memory mapping, function test kit. Help to identify the root cause of failures by link the knowledge of semiconductor process, IC design and production test. This job requires deep understanding /experience on issues facing the most advanced process and product development. Good communication and teamwork skills are needed for this position as candidate needs to interface with various internal and external groups (foundry, TD and IC Design).
Job Qualifications:
MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering. A hand on experience in 90nm and beyond process development and yield improvement. Understand IC circuit, layout, and process. C, or C++, Pearl or any software ability is preferred. Able to travel 6 months for training.
